Welcome to the website dedicated to Mauricio Taricco, the little Argentine footballer who played with his heart on his sleeve and to this day continues to do so.

To us Ipswich fans his South-American flair was a joy to watch. He was Ipswich Town's first Argentinean signing and he made a huge impact at the club. He will go down in the history books at Ipswich Town as one of the fans-favourite's.

Even now, years after his departure there is still talk of him on internet message boards and in the stands at Portman Road, he will never be forgotten because as a player who played with passion, commitment and most importantly he had the will to win, something that appears to be lacking at certain times during the season.

There are not many players that command so much respect from a club they left so long ago, and what Mauricio achieved for Ipswich Town will ensure that he will never be forgotten by us Town fans and that he will be always be welcomed with open arms.

The purpose of this website is to catalogue his career from when it started way back at Argentinos Juniors right up to his current stint at Brighton and Hove Albion as player/assistant to Gus Poyet.

In September 1994, Ipswich Town signed a little known Argentine footballer named Mauricio Taricco. He joined us from Argentinos Juniors, played some fantastic games for us, won Supporters Player of the Year in 1997 and when he was sold to Tottenham, he left as a legend and is still thought of very highly at Portman Road. - Welcome to the website dedicated to this great man.

In closing, I would like to thank you all for visiting this site, it is for Mauricio fans worldwide and has already been visited by people from the UK, Argentina, Hong Kong and many more countries from all over the world. It's nice to hear from so many people who admire the same thing that I do; Mauricio Taricco.

It was announced that MT had retired from football but it was a false alarm and he is still playing, this of course is great news!

Brighton have not been on a great run recently but as an ITFC fan we have been on much worse!

Good Luck to Mauricio and Brighton for the rest of the season

Another site for anyone interested in Ipswich Town has got to be www.tractorgirls.co.uk - it shows a beautiful array of fine Ipswich ladies in their clubs shirts and is a must for any footy fan!
